Engr. Fabio Aloisio is an Italian mechanical engineer, graduated from the University of Trieste in 2010. Since graduation, he has always been fascinated with refrigeration and energy savings. He has already ten years of experience in Zudek refrigeration and has been working there ever since his graduation. He is a key player in the research and development of the Zudek’s water ammonia absorption chillers.

En su rol como gerente técnico para México en la división de América Latina de Soluciones Comerciales y Residenciales de Emerson, Alonso es responsable de la ingeniería de aplicaciones y los servicios para las divisiones Copeland ™, White-Rodgers ™, Cold Chain Digital Solutions y Vilter ™. Supervisa un grupo de 20 ingenieros que apoyan el negocio de la cadena de frío mexicana de Emerson desde el punto de vista técnico y de producto.
Ingeniero mecánico y eléctrico trilingüe, Alonso se unió a Emerson en 2014. Tiene más de 14 años de experiencia en la industria de HVACR a lo largo de su carrera, incluidos puestos de ingeniería en México y Brasil.
Obtuvo una licenciatura en ingeniería mecánica y eléctrica del Instituto Tecnológico y de Educación Superior de Monterrey, Estado de México.

Ammi leads a team of engineers and scientists in the research, development, deployment and market transformation of Energy Efficiency & Demand Responsive (EE/DR) technologies. Some of the technologies demonstrated include: advanced space conditioning systems for residential and commercial buildings, heat pump water heaters, advanced end-use smart technologies that integrate with the smart grid, and industrial process efficiency improvements. He also manages RD&D activities focused on advanced demand response (DR) applications in Energy-Water Nexus area & renewables integration, and technologies such as OpenADR and SEP. His focus also includes utility analytical techniques, such as energy meter data disaggregation, impact of energy efficiency on emissions etc, so as to make energy efficiency and demand response programs successful around the world.
In his prior tenure at EPRI, Amarnath was a Senior Project Manager within the Industrial and Distributed Generation programs. His activities included the collaborative RD&D of efficient industrial technologies, advanced fuel cells and other distributed generation technologies.
Amarnath received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in chemical engineering from India and a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston.

Docente en las Universidad Pontifica Bolivariana y Universidad Industrial de Santander para el Área de Extensión Académica de la Facultad de Ingeniería mecánica. 23 años de Experiencia en el sector de la Refrigeración: 7 años en el área de Mantenimiento, y 13 años en el área comercial y de diseño, y 4 años como consultor: Actualmente Mauricio se desempeña como Gerente de Ventas para Hill Phoenix División Industrial para Sur América y Mexico desarrollando el canal de distribución para la tecnología CO2 y Ultra baja carga de amoniaco, así como el soporte a la implementación de los diferentes recursos para prestar los servicios de instalación y soporte técnico. En su carrera profesional, dentro del área de diseño, la participación en el diseño y selección de sistemas de Refrigeración ha sido una constante, con más de 500 instalaciones en 14 diferentes sectores.

Jonathan has 15 years Industrial refrigeration experience, with exposure to dozens of medium to large project in Canada supporting the cold storage, food & beverage and recreational markets as well as to the natural refrigeration Industry from convention flooded & pump recirc. systems, to new technologies such as low charged DX, CO2 cascade & transcritical systems. He’s been involved in all aspects of refrigeration projects from initial design concept & customer negotiation to project execution and install. Recently he’s spent 5 years branch as a manager experience with a focus on the service sector.
He’s been at CIMCO since 2005, now working in Business Development.
He has a B.A. in mechanical engineering from Lakehead University and a Engineering Technologist Diploma from Sheridan College.

Desde 1986 se ha desempeñado como consultora en diversos organismos públicos, cámaras industriales, empresas privadas y organismos internacionales en temas de impacto ambiental de presas y disposición de residuos sólidos, implementación de Sistemas de Gestión Ambiental, control ambiental en rellenos sanitarios, manejo de residuos peligrosos. , calidad del agua, etc.
Ha sido delegado y ponente representando al país en numerosas ocasiones y en diversos foros locales e internacionales sobre temas relacionados con el medio ambiente.
Tiene más de 15 trabajos publicados sobre normas ISO 14.000, calidad del agua, eutrofización de embalses, gestión de residuos peligrosos y el Protocolo de Montreal.

Rolando is the Engineering and Maintenance Manager at Arneg Central America. He received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. At Arneg Central America, the regional office of Italian OEM ARNEG serving all of Central America and the Caribbean, they offer the full portfolio of solutions the Arneg Group manufactures worldwide, focusing on commercial refrigeration and retail solutions. He has implemented the first R744 refrigeration solutions in the region and over the past two years mainly Transcritical R744 solutions (16+ systems). He has a vast experience and successful use-cases of highly efficient natural refrigerant solution implementations in the tropical climate of Central America and the Caribbean, proving natural refrigerants are ready to be adopted globally.

Jennifer has been involved in regulatory affairs across multiple industries for more than 20 years. In
her current role, she is responsible for managing activities related to policies, regulations, codes and standards as they apply to the air conditioning and heat pump market. She is involved in several industry organizations, including AHRI and ASHRAE. Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Wright State University and has an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.

Miguel Caicedo es Ingeniero Mecánico, con estudios de cuarto nivel en Gestión Ambiental y Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo.
Experiencia en el sector florícola de más de 30 años, como parte de su trabajo ha realizado diseños y montajes de cuartos fríos con varios tipos de refrigerantes. En el 2019 lideró exitosamente el cambio de refrigerante R22 a R290 en la cámara refrigerada de la finca Esmeralda Sun, perteneciente a la empresa HILSEA INVESTMENTS LIMITED.

Marc Chasserot is a specialist in natural refrigeration with over 15 years of experience in the HVAC&R sector, starting as the Marketing Manager for the Norsk Hydro business unit specialised in CO2 transcritical refrigeration and heating. He worked closely with several Japanese manufacturers selling the market innovative “CO2 Ecocute heatpumps”.
In 2006 Marc founded the industry leading website for CO2 cooling and heating experts worldwide, called www.R744.com. This was followed by three additional industry resources for hydrocarbons, water and ammonia (namely: www.hydrocarbons21.com, www.R718.com and www.ammonia21.com).
Marc is co-founder and CEO of shecco, an independent market development company specialised in bringing Natural Refrigerants ‘faster to market’, working with numerous companies worldwide. Marc has chaired and organised several international workshops bringing together leading policy and industry experts to discuss ‘how to bring natural refrigerants’ faster to market, known as ‘ATMOsphere’. He is also an active member of ASHRAE.

From Europe to North America Livingstone provides innovative technical services focused on strategy, design, and execution. Prior to joining Livingstone, Mr. Coffin was a Director of Sustainability & Facilities at Whole Foods Market where he led a team that oversaw the implementation of environmentally responsible programs, sustainable engineering initiatives, and facility management. UU.
Antes de su puesto en el IIAR, la Sra. Rector trabajó durante 7 años con Americold Logistics LLC; que es la empresa de almacenamiento de alimentos refrigerados más grande de los Estados Unidos y, que utilizan amoníaco anhidro para refrigeración. La Sra. Rector fue la Gerente Regional Senior de Seguridad de Procesos donde supervisó los Programas de Seguridad de Procesos y realizó inspecciones de Análisis de Riesgos de Procesos (PHA) de Sistemas de Refrigeración de Amoníaco Industrial en más de 40 almacenes frigoríficos en la región del Este de los EE.UU. Most recently Mr. Vyas headed the Energy Solutions and Intelligent Mobility business at s2e Technologies leading all activities in the segment including business development, feasibility engineering, design & analysis, financial analysis, project planning and execution. Mr. Vyas led design and construction management for a sustainable grocery store in Stouffville, ON which incorporates PV, CHP, CO2 Refrigeration as well as other energy efficiency and waste heat capture technologies.
Mr. Vyas has B.S in Electrical Engineering from Sardar Patel University, GJ, India and M.S degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University, TX, USA. He also holds Black Belt certification from UMASS Donahue Institute, MA, USA.

With 20+ years of supermarket business experience, Phillip works closely with customers, service providers, and the Arneg team to develop natural refrigerant solutions that are tailored to meet the objectives of the project. Ali White is a VEIC Energy Consultant for Efficiency Vermont’s commercial and industrial customers. Through that energy efficiency utility, she develops innovative energy-saving solutions tailored to their business models and strategies. She conducts technical and financial analyses to confirm the value of these solutions. Ali specializes in refrigeration energy efficiency measures and system design for grocery stores, breweries, and industrial processes. She holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Vermont.

Chris has worked in the Food Industry since 1996 and has held numerous positions with Butter-Krust Baking Company, ConAgra Foods, Sara Lee Fresh Bakery, and Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. (BBU). He currently is the Corporate Director, Environmental / Sustainability for BBU, responsible for leading environmental / sustainability efforts at operations throughout the United States and Canada. Chris is also active with Sustainability efforts at BBUs parent company, Grupo Bimbo S.A.B. de C.V, assisting with the GRI, CDP, and other initiatives.
Chris graduated from Susquehanna University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science and continued his education with a Master of Business Administration Degree from Bloomsburg University. Chris is an American Institute of Baking (AIB) Certified Baker. He participates with the EPA Energy Star Program, the Food Industry Environmental Council, and is Co-Chair of the American Bakers Association’s Environmental Committee.
